PROMPT: Team Magical Girls
FILL: Team Ace Attorney
"Do you need to write notes on every little thing i do?"
"It'll help you improve for next!"
Maya gasps. "Improve?! You don't like my muffins?" Maya says with mock indignation.
"Of course I do my love! But we can always improve!"
"Hmph! In what ways do you think I should "Improve" then?"
"Well for one, the temperature is a little high, they have no time to rise so they get a little gummy."
"But then the streusel on top won't get crispy!"
"Then you just put them in for longer!"
"If you really think I need to improve that much then I'll make one batch with your "critiques" and one the RIGHT way" Maya places her hands on her hips, like a prissy little princess.
"That's a perfect idea! You'll see just how much my solutions help!"
"What else is so abhorrently wrong with my muffins?"
"You should change the ratios a bit, add more baking soda as well as shredded apple, to make them even fluffier! You could also change the caramel you use, for this application a dry caramel would go much better."
"Ok, fine let's see which way is better!"
Maya continues her original batch of muffins as she would usually, that is to say amateurishly and with Ema hovering and huggering. But damn if it doesn't produce a good muffin and a messy kitchen. Afterwards she lets the oven cool a bit and sets it to 350 instead of her usual 380. She adjusts her ratios and attempts a dry caramel. And attempts it again... and one more time for good measure. On the fourth attempt she finally succeeds, swirling the caramel with her batter and leaving them to bake for slightly longer than usual.
"Phew, just gotta wait now!"
"Yay, Maya's muffins mall for mEma!"
"Hey! You gotta share, especially cause i did the work and you just wrote down more of your notes! Also that's not how words work."
"Yuh-huh! Oh and i do have more notes! For one-"
"Grahh! Why must you do this to me? Betrayal by my own love?"
"It's not betrayal! I'm helping!"
"Nuh-uh!"
"Yuh-huh!"
"Whatever! Hmph, HMPH!"
Eventually the oven dings and Maya removes her muffins from the uffin- I mean oven and lets them cool. She taste tests her original batch.
"Shee? Erfectly good mufinnth!" Maya says, her mouth still full of muffin.
Ema actually swallows her bite and responds "They are pretty good, but let's try this one now!"
They each pick up one of Maya and Ema's Science Muffins(Patent Pending) and take a
bite. It's unlike anything either has tasted before.
"I. Guess you were right, huh?"
"Mhm, it's just science! And it goes to show we always work better together!"
Maya seems to lighten up at that "I guess we do."
They proceed to feed muffins into each other's mouths like the gay little gay girls they gayly are.

“I’m sorry, Neon-chan! I just had to do it!” Sara cries over the phone, clearly still highly emotional from the argument just now. “They were being so mean and stupid about you! What kind of girlfriend am I if I won’t defend you?”
And the thing is, Sara had a point, or she would have, if her response to hate comments on Neon’s stream hadn’t been doxxing every single hater and signing them up to several spam mailing lists. Now Neon knows that one should not underestimate office ladies. Email jobs teach you a variety of completely life-destroying skills if focused on the right place.
“I’m glad you care, Sara-san, really, it’s just… How am I gonna field this? They'll come after me if they find out you did it!”
“I used a burner account! Made with a burner email and everything. I’m not an internet safety novice, you know? I’m twenty-six years old! Back in my day we had to know this kind of thing.”
…It’s useless, isn’t it? Oh well, if anything really goes bad, maybe Neon will just ask Ace to make it so the whole thing never happened.
