On the one hundredth day of the siege, you catch Deshavi and Ymira arguing.

"I won't do it," Ymira says. "I won't!"

"Don't be stupid," Deshavi tells her. "You're hungry. I'm not. Take the food."

“Oh, is that so? Well maybe I’m not hungry either! You’ll just have to keep it yourself. Maybe I could even give you my own - Captain!”

She falls silent abruptly, and Deshavi whirls around to face you.

“Captain,” Deshavi begins, “we were just -”

“It’s a noble impulse,” you say, cutting her off, “but I can’t let you do it. I need you - both of you - as healthy and capable as you can be. That means eating your rations, all of them, yourself. No passing them off. No underhanded tricks. No self-sacrifice. That’s an order. Am I understood?”

“Yes, Captain,” they say in unison.

Hypocrite that you are, you haven’t eaten in two days.
